Krvavica Beach: A Complete Guide
Krvavica is a small village about 6 kilometres south of Baška Voda, on the road towards Makarska, where Biokovo comes down almost to the sea. Its white-pebble beach runs in front of the village and its little harbour, and it is a relaxed alternative to the bigger resort beaches.
The Beach at a Glance
The beach is made of white pebbles, with pine trees behind parts of it and the village harbour at one end. Krvavica is an official bathing-water monitoring point, and its water has been rated excellent every season from 2015 to 2025. The beach is about 300 metres long and lies right next to the promenade. The pebbly seabed shelves gradually, with some stones underfoot, so water shoes help.
Facilities & Amenities
The Baška Voda tourist board lists showers, changing cabins, toilets, restaurants and cafés, deck chairs, parasols, a children's playground and recreational facilities at Krvavica beach. Grocery stores are in the village.

Exploring the Surroundings
Above the village rises Ključ kuk, a tall rock that is Krvavica's best-known landmark. Tourism here began in 1960 with a holiday complex on the shore, built around a round main building. Ramova beach, by the marina, is a few minutes' walk away. Bratuš and Promajna are just to the north, and Makarska is a short drive south.
Practical Tips for Your Visit
Water shoes are useful on the pebbles and rocks. Parking is paid: the nearest car park is about 120 m from the beach (see quick facts).
