Tučepi’s long pebble beach runs beside a promenade with places to stop for lunch, buy an ice cream or have a drink after swimming. If you are planning to spend much of your holiday at the beach, look for a villa or apartment near the seafront. You can enjoy a walk along the promenade in the evening, too. Above the coast, the old hamlets of Gornji Tučepi are worth exploring for their stone houses, olive groves and views of Biokovo. Visit Srida Sela to see the older village, away from the busy seafront. It is a good outing for a day when you want a break from swimming and sunbathing.
