Villa Montes

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend – immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Man hat sich jederzeit gut betreut und willkommen gefühlt. Die Villa selbst war in einem makellosen Zustand: alles war sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail vorbereitet. Besonders begeistert hat uns die fantastische Aussicht, die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Außerdem war wirklich an alles gedacht. Es standen Gewürze zur Verfügung, Getränke waren bereits im Kühlschrank, und die gesamte Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Man merkt, dass hier großer Wert darauf gelegt wird, dass sich die Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. Wir haben absolut nichts zu beanstanden und würden ohne zu zögern wiederkommen. Fünf Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig – wenn wir mehr vergeben könnten, würden wir das tun. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

We loved our stay at Villa Montes. The views were unbeatable and the outdoor space was perfect for our party of 6. The host, Zorana, was very communicative and gave great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and taxi services. Most evenings, a group of locals played bocce at the church next door, which added a fun experience. They are a friendly group - be sure to say hi! Would definitely recommend a rental car, as the roads to get to town are extremely steep. We would recommend Villa Montes to anyone interested in visiting Makarska!

After researching many villas, this was my villa of choice for several reasons. We were a family with our 2 adult children and partners in their 20’s. All 3 bedrooms were to an excellent standard, I didn’t want one couple to have a box room or sofa bed - they all were equally tasteful, spacious, comfortable and with excellent en-suites. The most impressive part of the villa was the view from the pool area, both day and night - it was spectacular. It was also such a pretty villa, it had been rebuilt with such thought and finished with great taste. Our host was fantastic, she meet us on arrival with a welcome hamper, was on hand with advice, recommended an incredible boat trip and booked a fabulous restaurant for us, she even delivered amazing cakes as a mid stay treat! The location had something for everyone- old town, marina and bay were perfect, lots of great restaurants, safe swimming and water sports. The mountain top skywalk and drive was incredible and shell museum worth visiting

Just come back from our beautiful stay at Villa Montes. It's super pretty and we were greeted by Zorana who was very friendly and amazingly helpful. The design of the villa is exceptional. It's the perfect size - 4 of us stayed but it could have slept 6. It was very clean and has lots of amenties - in fact everything was thought of! The outside area is gorgeous and cleverly you can acceess the terrace and pool area without having to go downstairs through the rest of the villa. My only comment was that it is slightly overlooked and we did hear quite lot of sound from one of houses above the villa - this didn't stop our enjoyment. It's perfect for watching the incredible sunsets. The water was a bit cold for everyday swimming but we were there at the end of the season so I suspect the temperature had fallen a couple of degrees from the height of summer. Zorana managed to deal with this for us midway through the week and the pool was very swimmable towards the end. Zorana was the best!
